The Great BetrayalThe Great BetrayalThe Great Betrayal
Crimson Hues are cast upon the starched sheet Flames flickering lightly from a draft
The deep wood grained desk in the shadowy corner Sleek calligraphy illuminated by the medieval lamps
Red roses lie nearby, their sweet aroma enticing Laces of crimson vein spattered on the hard wood floor
Dark clouds consume the barren sky, the window slightly a kilter Smell of rain seeping into the room as a light crack of thunder resounds
The dark oak of the desk creaks as the pressure drops, a quill just within vision Deep from within its bosom

Tearing and breaking, tissues burned out a bloody hole, defining its route
It burns, flame searinging flesh cutting through the fog, reminding, its fresh

20/20 vision, esc

ShardsShards and rifts open wide, gaps within my functions lie Foremost pain, pain of unprecedented fluencyShards
my mind witholding, breaking through the foggy bay Water rising as overflowing bowls leak misty tendrils round an edge Violent streams of blackness flow through my fingers A cold realization overcoming, overbearing
The fluids flowing through my hands, leaking onto the yellowed parchment as my words flow, writing becoming thicker darker the darkness it embraces me, redefining my stagnancy the shadows are where reason lies, its grasp sometimes avoiding me Where is this darkness
